About the speakers

David Lake, Architect and Consulting Engineer – Cisco

David has been with Cisco for over 15 years and is part of the chief technology and architecture team, currently working on future mobile access technologies and integration between Service Provider and Enterprise solutions.

With an abundance of experience in network engineering and small cell technologies, David will give us an insight into Low Power Wide Area networks and how they relate to current 5G thinking as well as recent developments towards Clean Slate 3GPP IoT (NB-IoT) with a little on future LTE-M.

Alison Grey – Director, Cross Portfolio Product Development – Inmarsat

Alison’s role in Cross Market Product Development focuses on product and user experience management to innovate and deliver great products and services from satellite phones to core modules.
