LIVE TALKS #04 ☓ STARTUP STORIES
After the amazing turnout at our last Live Talk at the beginning of February, we have decided to hold Startup Stories earlier than originally planned.
This will take place on the 2nd of March at The University of Westminster – Marleybone Campus – Hogg Lecture Theatre.
We are proud to announce that four incredible speakers will present Live Talks about their stories on how they made their Startups succeed and how they became successful entrepreneurs.
There will be a Q&A session followed by a networking session where everyone will have the chance to meet the speakers and exchange details.

Speakers
Robert Howshall
COO, SmartUp
Robbie is COO of SmartUp, a knowledge platform for learning about the worlds of tech, startups and entrepreneurship.
SmartUp started with a question at Founders Forum a.k.a. the Davos of Tech: How do we scale mentoring? How do we get the best advice into the hands of entrepreneurs who need it the most, when they need it?
Our answer is SmartUp. With SmartUp, future and early stage founders can build their StartUp IQ through engaging quizes and simulations, and compete for a chance to win 1-to-1 mentoring from the Founders Forum network. SmartUp is available on the iOS and Android, and has been twice featured by Apple as a Best New App.
Prior to SmartUp, Robbie spent his time building business gaming simulations to help big corporates like Unilever deploy their global brands in global markets, ING to deal with post-crisis financial regulations, and VimpelCom to rollout 4G networks in developing countries.
Robbie is still and engineer at heart, and once built and launched a pressure-balance autonomous submersible to take photos of a deep-sea cold water coral reef 100 miles off the coast of Scotland.

Susie Ambrose
CEO & Founder, Seventy Thirty
Susie Ambrose is a great woman with immense creative flair, who has turned a great idea and vision into reality! She has been able to use her creativity to ensure that the concept of Seventy Thirty differentiated the organisation from every other service in the luxury market.
Seventy Thirty has now become a growing success story and the leading elite international matchmaking agency; many people who come across us can’t help but mention how ‘blown away’ they are with the business model.
However, it is Susie’s determination in the face of adversity and her ambitious, creative and flexible thinking that have allowed Seventy Thirty to progress where others would have fell down flat.
