The second event with Buckworth Solicitors will be just before our
Great Pitching Evening III – pitching for the investment.
It would be very beneficial to members who are thinking of seeking the investment to get information on EIS and SEIS.
Buckworths solicitors were very kind to accept our invitation to give a talk on this matter. They are well know for their assistance and contribution to start up scene, SME and big corporate businesses.

SEIS, EIS and Grant Funding
Michael Buckworth will give an overview of the
– Seed Enterprise Investment Scheme (SEIS) and the
– Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS).
The session will explain why SEIS and EIS are two of the most generous (and widely used) tax incentive schemes for investors in start ups in the world and
why every entrepreneur needs to know about it and (where possible) take advantage of it!
The session will also touch on the availability of grant funding for companies and why it makes sense to secure grant funding in parallel with raising investment.
You will have an opportunity to ask the questions you might have.
Who these events are for?
The events are suitable equally for start ups, SME’s and investors.
