There is one thing that all the great public speakers today have done. They’ve learned from all the great speakers of the past. Those recognised as having superb speaking skills like Barack Obama or Bill Clinton have all studied and learned how their predecessors conveyed their message to the public.
While very few of us are lucky enough have been born with a natural talent to speak in public without some fear or to have the resources of a President, there is a solution.
As the leading public speaking club in London with an average attendance of 40 members & guests, London Toastmasters can quickly help you to improve your public speaking skills and increase your self-confidence with a practical learn by doing approach. We provide a fun and friendly learn-by-doing environment which enables you to develop your skills in a comfortable, supportive environment.

Our weekly meetings are suitable for everyone, no matter what your experience. Whether the very thought of speaking in public fills you with fear, or if you love standing up to speak in front of a crowd, you will learn something new by attending our meetings.
Come along to learn how to speak confidently on any topic without preparation, how to communicate your ideas clearly, and how to build rapport with your audience. Even if you hardly ever speak in public, you will find that the skills learned at our meetings will help you throughout your life in situations that you never imagined! Everyone is Welcome!
London Toastmasters thrives on all the guests who attend our meetings, and we pride ourselves on the very warm welcome everyone receives on arrival. Our club President will introduce them self to you and ensure you meet some of our members. The structure of the meeting will be explained and we will answer any questions you may have.
At a typical meeting, we usually have a room filled with members and guests seeking to improve their skills and confidence. After the meeting, we hope you will join us as we retire to the bar for a drink or two.
There is no fee to attend any of our meetings as a guest and absolutely no obligation to join.
When you decide to join, a full year’s membership of our club is just £144 plus a one-off payment of £30 to Toastmasters International which pays for all your manuals and a monthly magazine.
