Jump-Start Your App Development

We teach busy people how to create fully functional Android apps during an intensive, 16-hour weekend workshop. This workshop runs for 8 hours on Saturday and Sunday.

No programming experience is necessary. We have a hands-on approach that will guide you in making five apps.

During the course, you work through our detailed tutorials, each of which is designed to be a complete app and teaches you an important aspect app development. This way you learn both the tools (Android Studio) as well as the structure of an Android app. Learning points include things like how to design the interface, how to retrieve data from a database in the cloud, how to handle user input amongst others. Think of these as the essential building blocks that will help you build your own app.

Our courses run from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday at our venue in London. You will need to bring your own laptop. We also recommend to bring an Android phone or tablet along with a cable to connect it to your laptop so you can run the apps on the device instead of the emulator.
