Speaker #1: Cathy White 

Cathy is Head of Communications and Marketing for Seedcamp, the first round fund investing in early-stage tech startups. In her role, she advises their portfolio of over 200 startups on everything from how to pitch a journalist to how to brief an advertising agency. She has five years of experience in PR for startups, VCs, and tech ecosystem players, having worked with companies such as Index Ventures, Transferwise, Klarna and Seedrs. In 2014, she was featured in PR Week as a rising star in the industry.

In her talk, Cathy will show you how to begin thinking about your own basic PR strategy, how this ties to your overall marketing plan, and what stories work for journalists. Providing you with some little hacks to manage this all in-house and save yourself money in the process.

Speaker #2: Daniel Johnson

Having started his first company at 14 that was later sold to a conglomerate, Daniel has been learning how to start and grow companies for over 7 years. Currently, he is the Head of Marketing for Shoprocket.co: a fast-growing tech startup company that is looking to reinvent eCommerce.

In his talk, Daniel will be talking about the tips, tricks and techniques which he has used to grow 5 startups. He lists the free or very low cost, practical techniques that he has used to grow startups from nothing to £10K a month in sales. Additionally, he will be giving away the framework he uses to manage his own growth hacking processes.
