Robert Fenton is the founder of Hipsters, Hackers & Hustlers (HHH), a community of tech startups that grew up out of a very small Meetup group originally called ‘Entrepreneurs and Web Developers’ which was designed to help entrepreneurs find developers (and vice-versa) to co-found tech startups. 2 years ago, when Rob (accidentally) took over the group, it only had a handful of members, but now, after a subtle but strategic renaming (it’s now called ‘Developers & Entrepreneurs’), some creative marketing and a few whacky events it has rapidly grown to over 5000 members and forms a core part of what is now the 20,000+ member strong HHHcommunity.
Rob will share his story on how he grew HHH from an almost dead Meetup group into London’s (if not Europe’s) largest and most active community of tech startups. He will also share his secrets on how he keeps his members engaged and turning up to his events in large droves and he will show you how events and communities can really help you grow your own businesses.
