How To Sell A Company For Its Optimum Valuation

(Photo: Grapefruit Slice by Dan Zen)

A forum of leading M&A and corporate finance advisers discuss how founders can exit, including how companies are sold at an optimum valuation.

Format

6.30pm: Networking.

7:00pm: Panel session with the guys listed below, chaired by Jonathan Lea, exploring the topic with a few questions from the audience at the end.

8.10pm: More networking and then head to The Magic Roundabout (see link below).

Who should come along?

These are open events that aim to encourage entrepreneurship, everyone’s welcome! If you sign up I do ask/encourage/plead with you to pay the £6 annual membership fee to help this group keep running (they take a fair amount of my time to organise and they’re currently loss making).

Drinks

Unless someone would like to cover the cost of arranging drinks (small sponsorship cheque will cover it), the event will be ‘dry’ (you can always BYO beer, wine etc though), although we’ll look to head to The Magic Roundabout bar and grill around the corner once we wrap up the panel discussion.

Panel

Tony Vaughan, Founder & MD of Vexus, Exit Advisors & Business Brokers

Robert Sharp, Managing Partner of Valuation Consulting LLP who specialise in the valuations of companies, businesses and intellectual property

Chris Lewis, Partner at Results International (leading international M&A and fundraising advisors), previously head of the Technology M&A practice at KPMG.
