Join us on Thursday June 16th for the next FitTech Collective meetup.
We are delighted to be joined by tech leaders in this emerging market who will be discussing the power of focus within a business and tech solutions that can increase participation in fitness.
Anna Gudmundson, CEO of Digital Wellness company Fitbug, has over 10 years of management experience, primarily in mobile, online and services-related businesses.
She is passionate about technology, great product, new economy business models and building and supporting effective and flourishing teams. Anna’s experience spans across start-up, midsize and large multinational companies in the technology sector. She is also fascinated by psychology, wellbeing and user behaviour as well as how we create and consume culture. https://www.fitbug.com
Nishal Desai is the co-founder of imin, a tech-for-good platform that makes physical activity searchable. imin uses open data to transform how the world accesses sports, fitness and wellness. They believe that by making data about activities more accessible, we can inspire a generation of technologists and entrepreneurs to develop powerful solutions that can end the world’s physical inactivity epidemic.
imin was selected to be in the Winter 2015 cohort for the Bethnal Green Ventures accelerator programme, and shortly afterwards invited to join Sir Tim Berners-Lee’s Open Data Institute Startup Incubator. They are funded by the European Commission’s ODINE programme, partnered with London Sport, and are the founding organisation and co-chair of Openactive.io, the industry-wide collaboration for the creation of open standards for data sharing in this sector.
